Is Art Basel HK worth the trip?

It's my first time and needless to say, I am so excited! Has anyone here been to Art Basel HK? What's the vibe like? Do the same artists show up, or is it a whole new mix? Thanks!

I was lucky to have been there and the vibe I loved most was the fantastic mix of international sophistication and local energy! It does a great job of bringing together art from both the East and West. You'll get to see some big-name Western modern artists, but they put a huge spotlight on artists from the Asia-Pacific region, too!

I think they bring in a fresh mix every year so we won't have the same experience but I imagine it's going to be fun! I bet it'll be a fantastic way to discover new favorites for you!

@Ok_Entrance57 oh boy, definitely worth the trip! several big name galleries and artists are consistent, there's always a refreshing mix of new talent and regional focuses that make each year unique. you wouldn't imagine it if you don't experience it yourself
