i want to buy a print of andy warhol's santa claus for $80 and it's got an authentic signature based from how my other ones look like, but is it a good deal or? i'm pretty sure these are just signed form one of his previous events? like should i go ask for a certificate of authentication first?

I'm sure, you can ask for a COA first. buying tht for under $100 is an okay deal, but again this invitation isn't valuable because I've seen a gallery tht has hundreds of them

Warhol's signature is often forged, and just because it looks similar to your other prints doesn't guarantee it's the real deal. I'd say you ask for a certificate of authenticity before paying for anything

For 80 bucks i say its fake. But good luck tho, liek the others say just go have it authenticated or simply ask for the COA

You'll never find an original print of andy warhol's santa claus for 80 dollars, so it's 100 % fake.
