anyone knows an art appraiser around LA?

this is actually the first time i am doing this and i also would like to know how to get artwork appraised. Any leads will be appreciated

Well around LA you're in luck, lots of pros there, start by checking out local auction houses like Bonhams or even smaller galleries, they often have appraisers or know good ones, plus you can use platforms like Sotheby's online for guidance if you're still unsure.

gurr johns is a go-to in LA. it's an international one and they're pretty huge they already mentioned bonhams so... if you are planning on doing online anyway there's a lot for wherever you're at. do sotheby's or christie's. are you gonna sell it?

I highly recomend DJR Authentication, they appraise and authenticate almost ALL art and collections. Theyve got a facebook page, go check it out.
