seattle
Hi, looking for some advice. I'm in the seattle and have spent the last 20 years collecting various paintings, all of which I have receipts for. I'm now looking to get them appraised with the goal of selling but have no idea where to start.
I'm not sure if an auction house, private dealer, or online marketplace would be the best option, and I'd love to hear from anyone with experience in this area. Any recommendations on the best route to take would be greatly appreciated!

im also in seattle and recently sold some art. i'd suggest starting with a local appraisal from singer galleries. they are good and can tell you what your paintings are worth. for selling i found a private dealer worked best for me because it was quick and i got a fair price without the wait of an auction. online marketplaces can work too but it depends on how fast you want to sell.
